Deltaplan is a quiet, honest free-flight hang gliding simulator. No HUD, no hints: just the wing, the control bar, a vario and the sky.

Made for pilots, and for anyone who once flew and wants to be back above their own hills.

FLY

    Polar-based flight model and weight-shift control. 48 real wings built from DHV and manufacturer data: trainers, Soviet 1980s kingposts, classic double-surface wings and modern topless wings.

    Foot launch, thermals, ridge soaring, landing with a flare.

THE AIR IS SIMULATED, NOT SCRIPTED

    Set the weather like a pilot reads a forecast: max temperature, wind and cloud cover. Every flight is a new day.

    The wind is computed over the real terrain for every flight: ridge lift, venturi in saddles, rotors in the lee, morning inversions, checked against field measurements.

    Thermals rise from sun-heated slopes and die with their clouds. Turbulence grows with wind and at the edge, fades in calm morning air. Cloud suck and rare thunderstorms.

    Read the air from clouds, cloud shadows, birds, smoke, dust devils and gusts racing across lakes.

THE REAL WORLD

    Real terrain and land cover from satellite data. Four detailed sites in Altai and the Southern Urals, or pick any point on Earth.

    Share a 4-digit code and fly with friends in the same sky, on a home network or over the internet.
